hansa-express logistics GmbH was founded by the current owner Andree Niehaus. The core business back then was express shipping of goods of all kinds on the road and the forwarding brokerage of such transports. At that time, almost no courier company carried dangerous goods. Mostly because of a lack of knowledge of the respective regulations. Quickly, hansa-express logistics GmbH became a synonym for the fast and reliable carriage of dangerous goods.
ADR classes 1 and 7 were added to the service portfolio. For the first time, senders of ADR class 1 goods were able to ship such consignments by courier-direct transport. The market appreciated this possibility and the shipment volume and turnover in this sector grew exponentially.
The internationalization began – this required additional knowledge about requirements regarding customs clearing, national permits and escorts. Over the years, hansa-express logistics GmbH has built a European network of companies, which are also active in the transportation of dangerous goods. In cooperation with these partners, hansa-express logistics GmbH was able to transport all kinds of explosives, ammunition, military equipment and similar goods in a fast, powerful and reliable manner under consideration of all legal requirements.

The new generation has started taking over the company and also implementing a new, closely connected sector: security & guarding. The 2 new managers have successfully run their own security company in the explosives and military sector. Security is key when it comes to explosives transport and sometimes even legally required. Therefore we are able to provide own security guards, armed and unarmed to accompany and guard the trucks while on the street or parking.
